Warqi Paratha | Layered Paratha | वर्की पराठा | लच्छा पराठा | Food Tak

This multi-layered Warqi Paratha is a crispy and delicious treat, and it goes well with all sorts of curries and sabzis. Try the recipe today!
Sugar, 1/2 tsp
Milk, 30 ml
Maida, 125 gm
Ajwain/carom seeds, 1/2 tsp
Salt, to taste
Ghee, 2 tsp
Ghee for layers, as needed
Maida for layers, as needed
Ghee for frying, 2 tbsp
Mix sugar and milk in a glass.
Place the maida, ajwain, salt, ghee in a large bowl.
Add the milk mix and slowly knead the dough. The dough should be soft.
Roll out the dough, place ghee and maida, then give it a book fold.
Put the folded dough in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Repeat the same process of rolling out, placing ghee and maida, and folding again. Freeze for 10 minutes.
Not roll out the dough, cut it into equal sized pieces.
Heat ghee in a tawa and fry the parathas.
Serve hot with a curry or sabzi of your choice.
