Guests at home and want to make something quick and tasty. Here’s how to make Harrisa Chicken at home.
Chicken 400gms
Dried red chillies 15-17 in number
Coriander seeds 1tbsp
Cumin seeds 1tbsp
Caraway seeds 1tbsp
Garlic 3-4 cloves
Lemon juice 1teaspoon
Olive oil 2tbsp
Fresh parsley (for garninshing)
• Deseed the red chillies and soak them in water for at least half an hour.
• Take a pan, dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds and caraway seeds for 3-4mins on a high flame.
• Take the red chillies out from the water and put them into a food processor, add roasted cumin seeds, coriander seeds, caraway seeds, garlic, salt and olive oil.
• Blend the mixture until it becomes a smooth paste.
• Use the blended paste to marinate the chicken with the lemon juice and let it rest for at least half an hour.
• Heat up a frying pan and 1tbsp of olive oil into it.
• Add the marinated pieces of chicken to the pan and sear the both sides of chicken on a high flame.
• And cook the chicken on med flame for 20 to 25mins.
• Then remove the pan from the heat and finish it with fresh parsley on top.
